Privacy at the Adviser
What this site stores about you, which is almost nothing, and where Candy's own policy starts.
Short version: we do not want your data, so we collect almost none. There are no accounts here, no comments, no newsletter, no advertising networks and no tracking cookies.
What we store
- Your 18+ confirmation. When you confirm your age, your browser saves that single choice in its local storage so the question is not repeated. The choice stays on your device; wipe your browser data and it is gone.
- Server logs. Our server, as all servers do, writes a technical line for each request (IP address, time, address requested, browser) so that we can keep it working and fend off abuse. Logs are kept briefly and are not used to profile anyone.
What we do not do
- We do not set advertising or analytics cookies.
- We do not sell, rent or share personal data, because we do not collect any beyond the logs above.
- We do not ask for your name, email or payment details. If a page claiming to be us does, it is not us.
Search on this site
The question and glossary filters run in your browser. A search typed in the sidebar opens our Q&A page with your words in the address so the answers can be filtered; nothing is stored.
Links to Candy
Many pages link to candy.ai, and some of those links carry our referral code so that Candy can attribute a sign-up or purchase to us. Past that click you are Candy’s visitor, not ours: its privacy policy, terms and cookies govern what happens on candy.ai. Candy is operated by EverAI Limited, Malta; please read its policies before creating an account.
Videos on our pages are served from this site, not embedded from third parties.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal profile about you, there is usually nothing to access, correct or delete. If you believe we hold data about you, contact the desk through the details on our about page and we will answer.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date of the change will appear at the top of this page.
