How we work

How the Adviser Works

Where our facts come from, how we tell them apart from opinion, how we are paid, and how to reach us when something is wrong.

Candy AI Shorts Adviser is an independent guide to one product: the vertical AI series on candy.ai. We built it because the pages that ranked for Candy Shorts were mostly lists of titles, and nobody explained the format, the costs, the risks or the bigger story. This page explains how we work, so you can decide how far to trust us.

Where our facts come from

  • The catalog. Every day a script reads Candy’s public Shorts library: titles, categories, synopses, episode counts, which episodes are free, token prices and subtitles. All numbers about the catalog on this site, such as “174 open series”, are calculated from that read, last done on October 30, 2026.
  • How Candy works. Candy’s help center, terms of service, underage policy and subscriptions page, cited with their dates.
  • Prices. Premium plan prices are read from Candy’s subscriptions page by a script every two hours and shown with the time of the check. We never type prices by hand.
  • The industry. Regulators, legislation, court rulings, research firms and established publications, cited at the end of each chapter.

Facts, opinions and what we do not know

Facts appear in plain text or in green “Checked fact” boxes. Our opinions appear in amber “Adviser’s opinion” boxes or are introduced as our view. When something cannot be checked publicly, such as the terms of a creator’s likeness licence or the prices on the Spicy shelf, we say so instead of guessing. Plot summaries of Spicy series are written by us from published descriptions, and the episode guides say so.

How we are paid

Buttons and some links to candy.ai carry our referral code. Should one of those clicks lead to a subscription or a token purchase, Candy may pay us a commission. You pay the same price either way. The commission does not decide what we write: we recommend the free episodes first on almost every page, and we tell you when paying is not worth it.

What we are not

  • We are not Candy.ai or EverAI, and we do not speak for them.
  • We do not host videos. Previews on this site are Candy’s own trailers or the opening seconds of free episodes, linked to the series on Candy.
  • We do not link leaks or re-uploads, for the reasons in our leaks chapter.

Corrections

If a fact here is wrong or out of date, we want to fix it. The catalog corrects itself daily; anything else is reviewed by the desk. Every guide shows the date it was last updated.
