The words you meet around Candy AI Shorts and AI adult entertainment, defined in a sentence or two.
Candy AI Shorts come with their own vocabulary: tokens, Spicy, AI twins, micro-dramas, age assurance. This glossary defines each term in a sentence or two and points to the chapter where it matters. Terms marked in the handbook with a dotted underline link here.
A
- Age assurance
- Checks that establish a user's age with some confidence, such as facial age estimation or ID matching. Required for porn platforms in the UK since July 25, 2025.See also: Age gate
- Age gate
- A screen asking you to confirm you are an adult before entering. Candy uses one, and so does this site.See also: Age assurance
- AI twin
- An AI model of a real person's appearance, and often voice, that can appear in new scenes the person never filmed. On Candy, AI twins of adult creators star in some Shorts; Candy says each is made with the creator's full consent.See also: Digital twin, Licensed likeness, Candy Creators

- Billing descriptor
- The name that appears on your card statement for a purchase. Candy's is "EverAI".See also: EverAI

- Candy Creators
- Candy's programme of AI twins of real content creators, announced in its help center in August 2026. Creators' twins can be chatted with, and some star in Shorts.See also: AI twin, Star series
- Candy Shorts
- Candy's section of short, scripted, AI-generated video series, with episodes typically under two minutes. Also called Candy AI Shorts.See also: Episode, Micro-drama
- Category
- One of Candy's ten labels for a series' premise. Alphabetically: Cuckold, Fantasy, Maid, Milf, Nympho, Stepmom, Stepsister, Taboo, Teacher and Wife.
- Cliffhanger
- An episode ending that leaves the story unresolved, so you want the next one. The commercial engine of pay-per-episode series.See also: Micro-drama
- Consent
- In this context, a person's explicit, voluntary agreement to have their likeness used. US and EU rules on sexual deepfakes turn on whether it was given.See also: Licensed likeness, TAKE IT DOWN Act

- Deepfake
- AI-generated or manipulated image, audio or video that resembles a real person and could pass as authentic. The EU AI Act defines the term and requires deepfakes to be disclosed.See also: Consent, Digital forgery, EU AI Act
- Digital forgery
- The US TAKE IT DOWN Act's term for an intimate image of an identifiable person created with software, machine learning or AI. Publishing one without consent is prohibited.See also: TAKE IT DOWN Act, Deepfake
- Digital twin
- Another name for an AI twin. Candy's help center uses the term for its creator models.See also: AI twin
E
- Episode
- One instalment of a Short. In open series the first costs nothing and needs no sign-up, the second is free for registered users, and the rest are paid in tokens.See also: Free episode, Tokens
- EU AI Act
- The European Union's AI regulation, applying from August 2, 2026. It requires AI-generated content to be marked and deepfakes disclosed, and, from December 2, 2026, bans AI that generates realistic sexual material of an identifiable person without consent.See also: Deepfake, Consent
- EverAI
- EverAI Limited, the Maltese company that operates candy.ai. Charges appear as "EverAI" on bank statements.See also: Billing descriptor
F
- Free account
- A Candy account with no subscription. It unlocks episode 2 of open series and the Spicy shelf's sign-up gate.See also: Premium, Spicy
- Free episode
- An episode you can watch without spending tokens. In open series these are episodes 1 and 2; episode 1 does not even need an account.See also: Episode, Free account

- Generative AI
- AI that creates new images, video, audio or text from a prompt or a model, rather than analysing existing material. Candy Shorts are made with it.See also: AI twin

- Leak
- Online, a promise of paid content for free. For Candy Shorts it usually means re-uploaded free episodes or bait pages.See also: Re-upload
M
- Micro-drama
- A serialized story made for a vertical phone screen, in episodes of a minute or two that end on a hook, usually paid per episode. ReelShort and DramaBox popularised the format.See also: Vertical video, Cliffhanger
N
- New badge
- Candy's label for recently added series or episodes, shown on cards in its library and on ours.
O
- Open series
- Our term for a Short outside the Spicy shelf: the artwork is not blurred, and anyone can start its opener.See also: Spicy, Free episode
P
- POV (first person)
- A story told from the viewer's point of view, as if you were a character. Several Candy Shorts use it.
- Candy's paid subscription, sold as monthly, quarterly or annual plans. It includes 100 tokens a month plus features such as 18+ image and video generation and unlimited messages.See also: Tokens, Premium Plus
- A higher Candy tier described in its help center with 330 tokens a month. It was not on the subscriptions page at our last check.See also: Premium
R
- Re-upload
- A copy of someone else's video posted on another site. Re-uploads of Candy Shorts are unofficial and usually incomplete.See also: Leak
- Referral code
- A code in a link that tells a service who sent you. Some of our links to Candy carry ours; it does not change your price.
S
- Spicy
- Candy's label for its members-only Shorts: blurred posters, and a sign-up window instead of a player for visitors who are not signed in.See also: Free account, Open series
- Star series
- Our name for a Short featuring a creator's AI twin. Open star series charge 30 tokens a paid episode, not 12.See also: Candy Creators, Tokens
- Subtitles
- On-screen translation of the dialogue. Most Candy Shorts offer six or seven languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese.
T
- Taboo
- Candy's category for forbidden-attraction stories, typically inside a family or relationship, always between adults. The largest category in the catalog.See also: Category
- TAKE IT DOWN Act
- US federal law signed on May 19, 2025, prohibiting non-consensual publication of intimate images, including AI-made ones, and requiring platforms to remove them within 48 hours of a valid request.See also: Digital forgery, Consent
- Tokens
- Candy's in-app currency. In Shorts they unlock episodes after the free ones: 12 per episode, 30 in star series.See also: Premium, Star series
V
- Vertical video
- Video shot or generated in portrait orientation, to fill a phone held upright. All Candy Shorts are vertical.See also: Micro-drama
